Job Description:
We are seeking a highly technical and proactive Senior Facility Manager to take full ownership of the maintenance, safety, and operational functionality of our physical assets. In a high-traffic environment, facility management is the backbone of guest satisfaction; we need a leader who ensures that every system—from HVAC to power generation—operates at peak efficiency.
As the Facility Manager, you will oversee buildings, utilities, and grounds, balancing rigorous Preventive Maintenance (PM) with a high-touch service culture. Your mission is to ensure 100% uptime of utilities, maintain impeccable property aesthetics, and lead a technical team toward "zero-defect" operations. If you have 5–8 years of experience in large-scale property or hotel management and possess a deep mastery of building systems, we invite you to lead our facility operations.
Requirements:
1. Engineering Excellence & Preventive Maintenance
System Stewardship: Oversee the maintenance and repair of all critical infrastructure, including Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, and Mechanical systems.
Proactive Governance: Develop and implement robust Preventive Maintenance Programs (PMP) to anticipate failures and ensure uninterrupted guest comfort.
Asset Lifecycle Management: Conduct regular property inspections and manage renovations, refurbishments, and upgrades within strict budget and time constraints.
2. Energy, Utility & Resource Management
Utility Optimization: Monitor consumption of electricity, water, and diesel, implementing aggressive energy-saving measures to reduce the carbon footprint and operational costs.
Power Continuity: Manage the operation and maintenance of generators and power systems to ensure zero interruption in power supply.
Vendor & Contract Strategy: Negotiate and manage service contracts with external vendors, evaluating performance to ensure adherence to high-quality standards.
3. Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Compliance
Regulatory Governance: Enforce strict compliance with fire, safety, and environmental regulations, maintaining all necessary certifications.
Emergency Preparedness: Develop emergency response plans and ensure all safety equipment (alarms, extinguishers, exits) is fully operational.
Safety Culture: Lead safety audits and conduct regular training for staff on hazard prevention and emergency procedures.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Bachelor’s degree or HND in Facility Management, Engineering, or Building Technology.
Experience: 5–8 years of relevant experience, with a proven track record in building systems and team leadership.
Certifications: Professional certifications such as IFMA (Facility Management) or HSE (Health & Safety) are highly desirable.
Industry IQ: Strong understanding of hotel operations and premium guest service standards.
Core Competencies
Technical Mastery: Deep knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
Financial Literacy: Strong budgeting and cost control abilities to manage large-scale maintenance expenditures.
