Job Description:
We are seeking a high-caliber, dual-threat Operations & Business Development Manager to spearhead the launch and scaling of our premium home health services in Lagos. Based in Gbagada, this role is the operational engine of the organization, reporting directly to the CEO / Medical Director.
Your mission is two-fold: to architect a seamless, compliant service delivery model and to aggressively drive revenue through strategic partnerships and high-net-worth client acquisition. You will be responsible for the "boots-on-the-ground" logistics of dispatching clinical staff across Lagos while simultaneously building the brand's reputation with HMOs, hospitals, and corporate wellness programs. If you are a proactive leader with experience in healthcare startups and a talent for turning operational complexity into scalable growth, we want you to lead our expansion.
Requirements:
1. Operations Leadership & Clinical Governance
Service Orchestration: Oversee the end-to-end delivery of home health services, ensuring clinical staff (caregivers and nurses) are dispatched efficiently and provide patient-centered care.
Compliance & Quality: Implement and monitor Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Ensure 100% compliance with Lagos State (HEFAMAA) and Federal regulations, maintaining a "permanent state of readiness" for audits.
Resource Management: Plan and control operational budgets, managing the logistics of consumables, medical equipment, and field staff scheduling.
2. Strategic Business Development & Revenue Growth
Partnership Acquisition: Identify and secure high-value partnerships with HMOs, private hospitals, and corporate organizations to build a sustainable referral pipeline.
Market Penetration: Engage high-net-worth households and target communities to generate early revenue and establish brand trust.
Growth Intelligence: Analyze competitor pricing and service packages to provide data-driven input on our own promotional strategies and service tiers.
3. Team Leadership & Scalability
People Operations: Lead the recruitment, onboarding, and performance management of both clinical and non-clinical staff, ensuring valid professional licensing and high service standards.
Data-Driven Performance: Track and report on operational, clinical, and service quality KPIs, using insights to resolve challenges and optimize delivery.
Scalability Roadmap: Establish the operational foundation in Gbagada/Lagos that will allow for future expansion into other regional markets.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
Experience: Proven experience in healthcare operations or early-stage startups. Must have a track record of building partnerships and driving revenue.
Technical IQ: Familiarity with technology-led operations and data-driven decision-making.
Core Competencies
Strategic Mindset: Ability to manage complex, multi-location service delivery while keeping an eye on long-term growth.
Financial Stewardship: Strong budgeting skills to optimize resource allocation and control operational costs.
