Job Description:
Placid Health is seeking a high-caliber, results-oriented Business Development Manager (BDM) to spearhead our revenue expansion and market presence. This is a high-impact leadership role designed for a strategic "operator" who can move seamlessly between high-level B2B negotiations and granular digital growth tactics.
As the primary architect of our growth, you will bridge the gap between clinical excellence and commercial success. You will lead the charge in securing institutional partnerships with HMOs, NGOs, and Corporate Organizations, while simultaneously overseeing a sophisticated digital marketing engine. Requirements:
1. Institutional Partnerships & B2B Strategy
Strategic Scaling: Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for digital therapy and medication management services across Nigeria.
High-Value Acquisition: Identify, pitch, and close high-stakes partnerships with HMOs, corporate wellness programs, and NGOs.
Proposal Architecture: Design customized B2B proposals, pricing models, and financial forecasts that articulate the clear ROI of Placid Health’s services.
2. Digital Growth & Marketing Leadership
Performance Oversight: Lead the execution of digital campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, SEO, and LinkedIn, ensuring a high-converting lead funnel.
Audience Segmentation: Coordinate specific brand campaigns tailored to Gen Z, Millennials, and corporate professionals to maximize brand resonance.
Data-Driven Optimization: Track ROI and marketing metrics to pivot strategies and ensure efficient allocation of the growth budget.
3. Leadership, Relationship & Team Governance
Ecosystem Advocacy: Represent Placid Health at corporate wellness conferences and business forums to build long-term industry influence.
Internal Synchronization: Collaborate with clinical and operations teams to ensure service delivery matches the brand promise.
Mentorship & Capacity: Supervise junior staff and external vendors, ensuring a culture of continuous learning and internal knowledge transfer.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Master’s Degree required (MBA strongly preferred).
Experience: Minimum of 3 years in Business Development or Growth roles, specifically within HealthTech, Fintech, or premium service industries.
Technical Stack: Proficiency in HubSpot (CRM), Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, and SEO/SEM tools.
Core Competencies
B2B Negotiation: Exceptional ability to navigate the complex procurement and decision-making cycles of large organizations.
Strategic Execution: A "builder" mindset—capable of thinking in 12-month cycles while executing weekly sprints.
