Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Well Test Operations Manager to lead our surface well testing division. This is a mission-critical leadership role designed for an expert who can guarantee the integrity of high-pressure operations while maintaining the agility of a rapid-response field team.
As the operational anchor, you will oversee the entire lifecycle of well test projects—from equipment readiness and technical troubleshooting to crew leadership and high-stakes client management. If you possess 8–12 years of specialized experience and a "safety-first" mindset in the execution of complex surface well testing, we invite you to lead our field operations.
Requirements:
1. Operational Command & Service Delivery
Project Lifecycle Management: Coordinate every phase of job execution, from initial planning and equipment mobilization to successful field completion and demobilization.
Surface Equipment Integrity: Oversee the rigorous maintenance, servicing, and pre-job readiness of all surface well test equipment (Separators, Choke Manifolds, Burners, etc.).
HSE Stewardship: Ensure every operation is executed in strict adherence to industry-standard HSE practices and corporate safety procedures.
2. Crew Leadership & Technical Oversight
Elite Field Supervision: Lead and mentor field crews, fostering a culture of technical excellence and accountability during high-pressure job executions.
Troubleshooting & Problem-Solving: Provide hands-on guidance for equipment maintenance and resolve complex technical issues in real-time to prevent downtime.
Talent Development: Support the continuous training and professional growth of operational staff to maintain a competitive, high-skill workforce.
3. Client Relations & Operational Intelligence
Strategic Partnering: Act as the primary technical contact for clients, attending operational meetings to align service delivery with their production goals.
Documentation & Governance: Ensure meticulously accurate reporting, equipment tracking, and post-job documentation to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
Decision-Making: Demonstrate the ability to make rapid, informed decisions under pressure to protect personnel, assets, and the environment.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Experience: 8–12 years of intensive experience in surface well testing operations.
Leadership: Proven track record in managing crews and overseeing large-scale field supervision.
Technical Depth: Significant hands-on experience in the maintenance, troubleshooting, and mobilization of well test hardware.
Education: A relevant degree or technical certification in Engineering or a related field is highly advantageous.
Core Competencies
Operational IQ: Master-level understanding of well test planning, equipment logistics, and execution.
Relationship Management: Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage sophisticated client expectations.
Safety Culture: Sound knowledge of HSE protocols specifically within Oil & Gas upstream operations.
