Job Description:
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Warehouse Assistant to join our team in Lagos. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our stock levels and ensuring the smooth flow of goods. From processing requisitions to daily reconciliation using QuickBooks, you will be the backbone of our inventory accuracy. Requirements:
Stock Management: Manage the end-to-end process of receiving stock from ports and processing requisitions for Distribution Representatives.
Accuracy & Compliance: Cross-check all issued stock against waybills to ensure 100% accuracy. Maintain zero stock discrepancies through rigorous monitoring.
Accounting & Data Entry: Process waybills and return-to-stock documents promptly in QuickBooks. Perform daily stock reconciliations to ensure financial and physical records align.
Reporting: Compile and submit comprehensive daily and weekly reports as required by management.
Operational Support: Assist with inventory organization and perform other assigned duties as necessary to ensure efficient warehouse operations.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: National Diploma (OND) in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Experience: Proven experience in a warehouse or inventory role is preferred.
Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in QuickBooks is required. You should also have a working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
