Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced, results-driven Store Keeper / Warehouse Supervisor to take full operational control of our warehousing and distribution activities. As the custodian of our stock, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our cold chain, ensuring absolute inventory accuracy, and leading a high-performing warehouse team. This role is perfect for a logistics professional with a strong background in FMCG or food manufacturing who understands that efficiency in a warehouse environment is built on precision, hygiene, and proactive stock management. Requirements:

• Operational Leadership: Direct daily warehouse functions, ensuring the seamless receipt, organized storage, and timely dispatch of all products.

• Cold Chain Stewardship: Maintain rigorous control over cold room conditions. Ensure that all chilled and frozen goods are stored according to safety standards to protect product quality and integrity.

• Inventory Accuracy: Manage real-time stock levels. Lead routine reconciliation efforts and investigate any discrepancies to ensure our digital records match physical inventory.

• Strategic Compliance: Enforce FIFO (First-In, First-Out) and FEFO (First-Expired, First-Out) practices. Maintain a spotless, organized warehouse that meets all health, safety, and food hygiene regulations.

• Team Supervision: Lead, coach, and supervise warehouse personnel, including loaders and forklift operators, to drive productivity and operational excellence.

• Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with procurement, production, logistics, and finance teams to ensure that documentation (GRNs, Delivery Notes, Adjustments) is accurate and processed efficiently.

• Performance Reporting: Monitor warehouse KPIs and prepare periodic reports for management, supporting internal and external audit requirements.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Minimum of OND, HND, or Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.

• Experience: Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in warehouse operations, storekeeping, or inventory control, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

• Industry Focus: Proven FMCG experience is required, specifically within Frozen Foods, Poultry Processing, Food Manufacturing, Dairy, or Cold Chain Logistics.

• Technical Proficiency:

  • Strong familiarity with ERP systems for processing POs, GRNs, and stock transfers.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory reporting tools.
