Job Description:
We are seeking to hire an experienced Supply Chain Coordinator to oversee procurement, logistics, vendor management, and material coordination for engineering and construction projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting EPC projects, managing the procurement of engineering materials and equipment, coordinating with contractors and suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery while maintaining compliance with QHSE, ISO standards, and project requirements.
Requirements:
- Coordinate end-to-end procurement activities for EPC projects, including sourcing, tendering, vendor evaluation, contract administration, and purchase order management.
- Manage the procurement and timely delivery of engineering materials, equipment, and project-related services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, subcontractors, freight forwarders, and project stakeholders.
- Monitor supplier performance, negotiate pricing, and ensure cost-effective procurement in line with project budgets.
- Coordinate logistics, inventory, and material movement to project sites while ensuring compliance with project schedules.
- Ensure adherence to procurement policies, QHSE requirements, ISO 9001 standards, and regulatory guidelines.
- Prepare procurement reports, maintain accurate supply chain documentation, and support internal and external audits.
- Drive continuous process improvements to optimize supply chain performance and project delivery.
Qualifications and Skills:
- B.Sc. in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement and supply chain within the Oil & Gas EPC sector.
- Proven experience managing procurement for engineering, construction, or pipeline projects.
- Strong knowledge of vendor management, contract administration, logistics, and inventory control.
- Experience with procurement planning, cost control, budgeting, and supplier negotiations.
- Sound knowledge of QHSE standards, ISO 9001 requirements, and procurement compliance.
- Excellent stakeholder management, analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/procurement systems is an added advantage.
