Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and analytical Inventory Manager to serve as the custodian of our supply chain integrity. In this role, you will bridge the gap between supply and demand, ensuring that our operations are never halted by shortages and that our capital is not tied up in excess surplus. If you are a detail-oriented professional with a business mindset and a talent for forecasting, we want you to optimize our inventory control procedures and drive operational efficiency across all distribution channels.

Requirements:

  • Inventory Optimization: Devise and implement strategies to optimize control procedures. Ensure that product stock levels are perfectly calibrated to meet both direct customer demand and internal operational requirements.

  • Replenishment & Procurement: Place timely orders to avoid stock-outs or overstocking. Evaluate suppliers to secure cost-effective deals while fostering long-term, trustworthy partnerships.

  • Data Integrity & Reconciliation: Lead the accurate recording of daily deliveries and shipments. Use advanced software to reconcile inventory levels, ensuring that physical stock matches system records.

  • Analytical Forecasting: Analyze historical data and market trends to anticipate future inventory needs. Generate precise reports for upper management regarding stock status, potential risks, and operational performance.

  • Operational Collaboration: Work closely with warehouse staff and cross-functional teams to ensure that inventory handling aligns with broader business goals.

  • Compliance & Auditing: Maintain rigorous documentation of inventory characteristics. Conduct regular inspections of supplies and raw materials to identify and mitigate shortages early.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: BSc/BA in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field. Professional certifications such as CPIM are a significant advantage.

  • Experience: Proven experience in an Inventory Manager role or similar position with a strong track record in supply chain oversight.

Salary

N120,000 - N180,000 per month.
