Job Description:

We are looking for a creative, organized, and high-energy PR and Event Planning Manager to join our team in Ikeja. In this dual-function role, you will be the voice of our brand and the architect of our experiences. You will be responsible for managing our public image, cultivating media relationships, and executing seamless events that leave a lasting impression.

Requirements:

Public Relations & Brand Strategy

• Brand Image: Develop and implement PR strategies that enhance our reputation and visibility in the market.

• Media Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, bloggers, and influencers.

• Content: Draft press releases, feature articles, and speeches. Manage our public statements and media kits.

• Crisis Management: Monitor public perception and proactively manage any PR-related risks.

Event Planning & Execution

• Conceptualization: Design, plan, and execute high-impact corporate and brand events from concept to completion.

• Logistics: Manage event budgets, select venues, negotiate with vendors, and oversee on-site operations to ensure flawless execution.

• Promotion: Collaborate with marketing teams to drive attendance and engagement for all hosted events.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Relevant Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations, Mass Communication, Marketing, or a related field.

• Experience: Proven experience in PR, corporate communications, or large-scale event management.

• Key Competencies:

  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; you must be able to write compelling copy and speak persuasively.

  • Project Management: You are a master at timelines, vendor management, and handling multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Networking: You have an existing network of media contacts and service providers in Lagos.

  • Adaptability: You are calm under pressure and capable of troubleshooting event-day issues in real-time.

  • Creativity: You have a keen eye for detail and the ability to conceptualize unique event themes.
