Job Description:
We are seeking a meticulous, highly organized, and detail-oriented Payroll Officer to join our team in Victoria Island. In this role, you will be the backbone of our financial administration, ensuring that our team is compensated accurately and on time while maintaining strict compliance with statutory regulations.

Requirements:
Payroll Processing & Accuracy
Monthly Execution: Accurately process the end-to-end monthly payroll cycle within approved timelines.
Calculations: Manage the precise calculation of salaries, overtime, bonuses, allowances, and statutory deductions (tax, pension, etc.), as well as final settlements.
Reconciliation: Reconcile payroll reports to ensure data integrity and resolve any identified discrepancies before processing.
Data & Compliance Management
Record Keeping: Maintain and update employee payroll records and salary information, ensuring all documentation is filed securely and systematically.
Attendance Tracking: Monitor and verify attendance, leave records, and overtime data to ensure payroll inputs are accurate.
Compliance & Audits: Support internal and external payroll audits, ensuring full compliance with Nigerian labor laws and company policies.
Service & Communication
Employee Support: Act as the primary point of contact for employee payroll inquiries, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
Reporting: Prepare comprehensive payroll reports for management review and audit purposes, providing clear insights into payroll costs.
Confidentiality: Uphold the highest standards of data security, safeguarding sensitive payroll information and employee personal records at all times.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: Proven professional experience as a Payroll Officer or in a similar administrative/financial role.
Technical Toolkit:
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced skills are a plus).
Hands-on experience with payroll systems or HRIS software.
