Job Description:

We are seeking a technically proficient and data-driven Male HR Officer to join our human resources team in Mowe, Ogun State. This role is designed for a professional who can navigate the fast-paced, high-compliance environment of a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility.

Reporting to the HR Manager, you will be a key driver of HR operational excellence—from managing the end-to-end recruitment of specialized talent to utilizing advanced HR analytics for management decision-making. If you have 4+ years of experience, a deep understanding of manufacturing labor dynamics, and a mastery of HR software and Excel, we invite you to anchor our people operations.

Requirements:

1. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

  • Full-Cycle Recruitment: Manage job postings, technical shortlisting, and interviews specifically for manufacturing and corporate roles.

  • Strategic Onboarding: Design and implement onboarding programs that integrate new hires into the pharmaceutical facility’s culture and safety standards.

  • Documentation: Ensure all employee records and HR databases are 100% accurate and audit-ready at all times.

2. HR Analytics & Performance Management

  • Data-Driven Insights: Manage HR analytics to track headcount, turnover rates, and leave summaries, providing management with actionable reports for strategic planning.

  • Appraisal Oversight: Support the performance management cycle, ensuring that appraisals are conducted fairly and that feedback loops are maintained.

  • Software Mastery: Utilize HRIS and advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) to streamline HR reporting and payroll inputs.

3. Compliance, Benefits & Employee Relations

  • Policy Governance: Help implement and enforce HR policies in strict alignment with the Nigerian Labor Act and pharmaceutical industry standards.

  • Benefits Administration: Support the management of payroll inputs, leave tracking, and employee benefits schemes.

  • Industrial Relations: Address routine employee queries and support disciplinary/grievance processes under supervision to maintain a harmonious work environment.

  • Engagement & Training: Coordinate training sessions and employee engagement activities to foster continuous learning on the factory floor.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

  • Education: BSc in Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations & Personnel Management (IRPM), or allied disciplines.

  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years of work experience as an HR Officer. Direct experience in a Pharmaceutical Manufacturing company is highly preferred.

  • Certifications: Professional certifications such as CIPM, SHRM, PHRi, or CIHRM are a significant advantage.

  • Technical IQ: Advanced knowledge of HR Analytics, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint is mandatory.

Core Competencies

  • Manufacturing Savvy: Understanding of shift management, factory safety standards, and labor law compliance.

  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to interpret complex data and present it clearly to stakeholders.

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for managing both factory-floor and management-level interactions.

  • Discretion: High level of integrity in handling confidential employee and payroll information.
