Job Description:

  • We are seeking a dynamic and motivated HR Assistant to join our team.
  • In this pivotal role, you will support the HR department in various functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR administration, contributing to a positive workplace culture.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruitment Support: Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.
  • Onboarding Coordination: Coordinate new hire onboarding activities, including preparing paperwork, conducting orientations, and facilitating training sessions to ensure a smooth transition for new employees.
  • Employee Records Maintenance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HR database, including personal information, attendance, and performance evaluations.
  • Benefits Administration: Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
  • Employee Inquiries: Handle employee inquiries and concerns regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits in a timely and professional manner.
  • Policy Development: Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local labor laws and company standards.

Requirements:

  • Confidentiality: Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) software.
  • Team Player: Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professionalism: High level of integrity and professionalism.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience working in an HR role, preferably in a real estate company.
  • Location Proximity: Proximity to the office location is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Labor Laws: Sound knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and regulations.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Salary

N150,000 / monthly.
