Job Description:
We are seeking an organized, proactive, and detail-oriented HR Assistant to join our team in Idu, Abuja. This is a vital full-time role that supports our entire employee lifecycle, from the initial recruitment and onboarding of staff to day-to-day administrative management and payroll preparation. This position is ideal for an aspiring HR professional who thrives in fast-paced service or industrial environments and is eager to develop their skills in a hands-on capacity.
Requirements:
Recruitment Support: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including crafting job postings, screening high volumes of CVs, and coordinating interview schedules.
Onboarding & Induction: Ensure new hires are seamlessly integrated into the organization, facilitating orientation sessions and document collection.
HR Administration & Records: Maintain impeccable employee files and confidential records. Track attendance and leave to support accurate, timely payroll preparation.
Policy & Compliance: Assist in the implementation of HR policies and ensure consistent adherence to Nigerian labour laws and workplace safety standards.
Employee Relations: Provide administrative support for performance management cycles, disciplinary processes, and internal employee communications.
Staff Welfare & Training: Coordinate training programs, staff welfare initiatives, and scheduling to keep our workforce engaged and skilled.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
Experience: 1–3 years of HR experience, with a strong focus on recruitment.
Preference: Experience supporting hospitality, service, or blue-collar workforces is highly valued.
Professional Certification: Possession of CIPM, SHRM, or PHRi is considered a significant added advantage.
