Job Description:
Sales Agent Recruitment & Management
- Recruit, onboard, and train commission-based sales agents across multiple regions
- Monitor agent performance and provide ongoing support to ensure sales targets are met
- Develop, implement, and optimize incentive structures to improve agent productivity and retention
Market Activation & Awareness
- Plan and execute market activations, community demonstrations, and roadshows
- Coordinate with sales agents and telesales teams to ensure leads generated from activations are followed up and converted
- Track and report on lead generation and conversion performance
Retail Partnerships
- Identify, engage, and onboard retail outlets such as electronics shops, agro-dealers, and fuel stations
- Train retail partners to function as effective sales and product demonstration points
- Maintain strong relationships with retail partners to drive consistent sales performance
NGO, Cooperative & MFI Partnerships
- Engage cooperatives, women’s groups, NGOs, and microfinance institutions (MFIs)
- Design and execute joint sales initiatives leveraging group financing models and trusted community networks
- Support partnership-driven sales programs and monitor their effectiveness
Anchor Client Development
- Prospect, negotiate, and secure bulk and anchor clients including agribusinesses, cold storage operators, mini-grids, and other institutional buyers
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key institutional clients
- Support contract negotiations and onboarding of anchor customers
Reporting & Strategy Support
- Prepare and submit weekly sales performance, pipeline, and activity reports
- Provide insights and recommendations for improving sales processes and channel performance
- Contribute to the development and refinement of overall business development and channel strategies
- Perform any additional duties as required to support the growth and development of Koolboks
Requirements:
- Experience managing field sales agents, retail channels, or community-based sales models is an advantage
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Willingness to travel extensively within assigned regions
- Strong ownership and accountability
- Excellent organizational and reporting skills
- Results-driven and target-oriented mindset
- Strategic thinking with hands-on execution ability
- Ability to work in fast-paced and dynamic market environments
Qualifications and Skills:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or partnership management
