Job Description:

We are seeking a visionary and high-velocity Business Development Manager to lead our market expansion. This is a strategic leadership role designed for a "hunter" who can see the bigger picture—identifying untapped markets, forging high-value partnerships, and re-engineering how we reach our audience.

You will be the primary engine of our growth, responsible for everything from initial lead generation and cold outreach to negotiating complex contracts and writing winning bids. This role requires a rare combination of strategic foresight and operational grit. You won't just find new business; you will influence how our entire organization operates to meet the evolving needs of the global market.

Requirements:

1. Market Intelligence & Strategic Planning

  • Growth Archeology: Research and identify new markets, growth areas, and emerging trends to stay ahead of the competitive curve.

  • Strategic Roadmap: Set clear aims and objectives to improve the business, carrying out the necessary operational planning to implement change.

  • Competitive Edge: Keep a constant pulse on the global business landscape, attending seminars and conferences to build the firm's profile and network.

2. Relationship Engineering & Lead Generation

  • Lead Acquisition: Proactively seek out the appropriate decision-makers within target organizations, utilizing cold calling and networking to build a robust pipeline.

  • Partnership Stewardship: Foster deep-rooted relationships with clients, sponsors, and donors to ensure repeat business and long-term brand loyalty.

  • Consultative Selling: Deeply understand customer needs and develop tailored plans that align our products/services with their strategic goals.

3. Operational Leadership & Cross-Functional Synergy

  • Contract & Bid Management: Lead the drafting of client contracts and take the helm on bid-writing for high-stakes grants and service contracts.

  • Internal Alignment: Ensure all internal departments (Finance, Logistics, Marketing) are aligned with the growth strategy and understand their role in the expansion.

  • Team Development: Mentor and train team members, identifying external training needs to ensure the sales force remains elite and adaptable.
