Job Description:
We are seeking a numerically gifted and highly organized Compensation & Benefits Assistant to join our HR team in Lekki Phase 1. This is an entry-level role designed for a disciplined professional who wants to master the technical and financial side of Human Resources.
Reporting directly to the Compensation & Benefits (C&B) Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring our workforce is rewarded accurately and on time. You will assist in the administration of payroll, loan disbursements, and HMO health schemes. Requirements:
1. Payroll & Financial Administration
Payroll Support: Assist the C&B Manager in the end-to-end processing of monthly payroll, ensuring all staff are compensated accurately.
Loan Disbursement: Facilitate the administration and tracking of employee loans, ensuring proper documentation and repayment schedules.
Compensation Treatment: Help execute salary adjustments, bonuses, and other financial incentives in line with company policy.
2. Benefits & HMO Management
HMO Coordination: Act as a liaison for Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) administration, assisting with staff registrations, hospital changes, and card distributions.
Benefits Tracking: Maintain up-to-date records of all employee perks and statutory benefits to ensure seamless delivery and compliance.
3. Data Integrity & Growth
Excel Management: Use advanced Excel functions to maintain clean, organized employee data and financial records.
Research & Development: Conduct research into market salary trends and benefits best practices to support the C&B Manager in strategy development.
Reporting: Assist in generating weekly and monthly reports on payroll costs and benefits utilization.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Minimum of OND and a maximum of HND from a top-tier polytechnic.
Age Limit: Must not be more than 28 years old.
Tech Stack: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is mandatory (Ability to handle formulas and data organization).
Location: Must be able to work full-time in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos.
