Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Account Officer to manage our growing network of referral partners and HMOs. Located in our Asokoro facility, this role sits at the critical intersection of finance, business development, and healthcare operations.
Your primary objective is to ensure the financial integrity of our referral ecosystem. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of referral commissions, partner invoicing, and volume tracking. Requirements:
1. Referral Revenue & Commission Management
Incentive Architecture: Accurately calculate, verify, and process referral fees for doctors, clinics, and partner institutions.
Receivables Governance: Manage invoicing for patients referred by partners, ensuring billing accuracy and aggressive follow-up on outstanding payments.
Volume Analytics: Maintain a robust CRM database of all referral sources, tracking patient influx and identifying high-value partners.
2. Financial Reconciliation & Reporting
Ledger Alignment: Reconcile referral account transactions with the general ledger to ensure total financial transparency.
Performance Reporting: Prepare weekly and monthly reports detailing referral trends, revenue contributions, and ROI on partnership campaigns.
Audit Readiness: Maintain meticulously organized records of all payouts and invoices to facilitate seamless internal and external audits.
3. Stakeholder Liaison & Marketing Support
Primary Point of Contact: Serve as the professional liaison for referral partners regarding billing inquiries, payment statuses, or patient administrative queries.
Strategic Collaboration: Partner with the Marketing team to measure the success of promotional campaigns and events targeted at the medical community.
Relationship Stewardship: Build trust with external doctors and HMOs through timely payments and clear communication.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: BSc or HND in Accounting or Finance.
Experience: 1 – 3 years of experience as an Account Officer. Healthcare or Hospital experience is highly preferred.
Technical Stack: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software such as Sage 50, QuickBooks, or SAP.
