Job Description:

Are you an aspiring network engineer with a passion for building and maintaining the infrastructure that connects the world? We are seeking highly motivated, disciplined, and eager-to-learn individuals to join our team as Routing & Switching Officers.

This is a hands-on technical role designed for students and corps members who want to move beyond theory and gain real-world experience in telecommunications, fiber optics, wireless networks, and ISP operations. We provide a structured environment where you will work alongside experienced engineers to manage complex network environments.

Requirements:

• Network Configuration: Assist in the basic configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of enterprise routers and switches.

• Infrastructure Support: Support the deployment and troubleshooting of fiber and wireless network infrastructure.

• Monitoring: Participate in real-time network monitoring to identify and resolve performance issues.

• Technical Learning: Gain practical expertise in protocols, hardware installation, and signal optimization under the guidance of senior network engineers.

• Field Assistance: Collaborate on site visits to ensure network stability and service reliability for our clients.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Students: OND and HND students currently requiring Industrial Training (IT) or internship placement.

• SIWES Applicants: Students in Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields needing to fulfill mandatory program requirements.

• NYSC Corps Members: Graduates seeking a technical Primary Place of Assignment (PPA) in Lagos (or Abuja).

• Network Enthusiasts: Anyone with a genuine, demonstrable interest in pursuing a career in fiber, wireless, or core network engineering.
