Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and safety-conscious Rig Supervisor III to represent our company on-site. In this senior role, you will be the primary point of contact for all rig-related operations, ensuring that our well plans are executed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with operational standards.

Requirements:

Safety & Operational Leadership

• Primary Site Contact: Serve as the company representative on the rig site, acting as the lead coordinator for rig personnel and all third-party service providers.

• SSHE Champion: Communicate and enforce expectations regarding Safety, Security, Health, and the Environment. Provide hands-on guidance during all SSHE events.

• Well Control & Emergency Management: Monitor rig operations to ensure well control procedures are strictly followed and manage emergency situations with precision.

• Drill Oversight: Ensure all safety, operational, environmental, and security drills are conducted at specified frequencies.

Operational Execution

• Procedural Integrity: Ensure drilling and completion procedures are followed as approved. Facilitate the "Management of Change" process whenever adjustments are necessary.

• Logistics & Resource Management: Order and organize the logistics for all services and equipment required for drilling and completion operations.

• On-site Surveillance: Support surveillance in critical areas, including kick detection, abnormal pressure detection, torque & drag, mud properties, and solids control efficiency.

• Reporting & Interface: Generate accurate, timely, and detailed operations reports. Collaborate closely with engineering and geology teams to ensure full alignment with well objectives.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience: Extensive experience in rig supervisory or rig leadership roles specifically for drilling and completion operations.

• Background: Proven track record working for a major Operator or a reputable Drilling Contractor.

• Certification: Must hold a current Well Control certification.

• Key Competencies:

  • Strong ability to communicate expectations clearly to multidisciplinary teams.

  • Exceptional organizational skills to manage complex logistics under pressure.

  • Deep technical understanding of drilling mechanics and well construction.

  • Ability to maintain high standards of accountability and operational discipline.
