Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Electrical Engineer to join our team in Victoria Island. In this role, you will be responsible for the integrity, performance, and efficiency of our electrical systems. Whether you are designing new components, troubleshooting complex industrial setups, or leading sustainability initiatives, your technical expertise will be vital to our operational success.

Requirements:

Engineering Design & Optimization

• System Lifecycle: Design, develop, and test electrical systems and components, ensuring they meet rigorous performance and safety standards.

• Performance Analysis: Evaluate electrical systems, components, and applications to optimize efficiency and drive continuous improvement.

Operations & Maintenance

• Reliability: Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on plant electrical equipment to minimize downtime and ensure operational continuity.

• Project Execution: Actively participate in plant shutdowns, equipment installations, system upgrades, and the commissioning of new equipment.

Leadership & Sustainability

• Energy Management: Support organizational energy efficiency initiatives, lead renewable energy projects, and drive continuous improvement efforts.

• Supervision: Provide technical leadership and supervision to technicians and contractors, ensuring safety and quality standards are met at all times.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: A B.Eng or B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (or a related discipline).

• Experience: 5–7 years of relevant experience in an industrial environment or power plant is strongly preferred.

• Professional Certification (Mandatory): Current membership with COREN (Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria) is required for this role.

• Technical Expertise:

  • Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, motors, and power distribution.

  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and manage complex electrical infrastructure.

• Added Advantages:

  • Membership with the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE).

  • HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) certification.
