Job Description:

We are looking for a tech-savvy and patient IT Support Specialist to join our State Coordinator’s team. This is not just a "desk job"; it is a mission-driven role focused on bridging the digital divide for seniors, pensioners, and professionals across the state.

You will act as the technical backbone for our state initiatives—resolving complex hardware/software issues while serving as a compassionate digital mentor. From setting up public lectures to teaching seniors how to navigate modern platforms, your work will ensure that no one is left behind in the digital age. Requirements:

1. Digital Empowerment & Training

  • Senior Tech Advocacy: Boost technology adoption among seniors and pensioners, breaking down complex concepts into simple, actionable steps.

  • Instructional Leadership: Design and lead training sessions on digital tools, social platforms, and online security to foster user independence.

  • Empathy-Driven Support: Act as the first point of contact for tech-related frustrations, providing patient, non-judgmental guidance.

2. Technical Operations & Event Support

  • Hardware & Network Governance: Install, configure, and maintain computers, mobile devices, and networking equipment to ensure zero downtime for the team.

  • Event Technology Lead: Manage the technical setup (AV, streaming, connectivity) for public lectures and state events, ensuring seamless troubleshooting under pressure.

  • Software Management: Assist in the deployment and troubleshooting of core digital platforms used for pensioner support and state operations.

3. Strategic Collaboration

  • State Coordinator Support: Work closely with the State Coordinator to identify tech gaps in current initiatives and propose scalable solutions.

  • Independent Execution: Manage your workflow independently while remaining a proactive, collaborative member of the larger state team.
