Job Description:
- We are seeking an experienced IT Purchase Officer to manage procurement and invoicing processes for IT-related purchases.
- The successful candidate will ensure timely delivery of IT hardware, software, and services while maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders in line with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee procurement of IT hardware, software, and related services.
- Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, pricing, and delivery performance.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors.
- Manage invoicing processes, ensuring accuracy and timely payment.
- Reconcile vendor invoices with purchase orders and delivery documentation.
- Work closely with the finance team to support budget control and cost management.
- Maintain strong vendor relationships and resolve procurement-related issues.
- Maintain accurate IT asset inventory and ensure proper documentation and tracking.
- Manage IT asset lifecycle from procurement through deployment and disposal.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and prepare regular procurement and spending reports.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5 to 10 years’ experience in ICT-related procurement or technology purchasing.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills.
- Good communication and organizational abilities.
