Job Description:
- We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Head of Sales and Business Development to lead and grow our healthcare business portfolio.
- This role will be responsible for developing sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, forming strategic partnerships, and leading a high-performing sales team to achieve revenue growth and market expansion in the healthcare sector.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve business goals in line with organizational vision.
- Oversee daily operations of the sales and business development team across regions or product/service lines.
- Identify and evaluate new revenue opportunities, channels, and partnerships.
- Build and maintain relationships with hospitals, clinics, HMOs, distributors, pharmacies, government agencies, and healthcare providers.
- Identify emerging trends and new healthcare market segments to expand service/product offerings.
- Drive B2B and B2C growth through targeted campaigns and negotiations with key clients and stakeholders.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the sales and BD team to improve performance, skills, and engagement.
- Set sales targets, monitor performance, and implement performance improvement initiatives.
- Forge strategic partnerships with health institutions, insurance companies, NGOs, and public health organizations.
- Represent the company at healthcare conferences, trade shows, and industry forums.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, Healthcare Management, or a related field (MBA or MSc is a plus).
- Minimum of 7–10 years of progressive sales/business development experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within the healthcare industry.
- Strong understanding of healthcare sales cycles, regulations, and B2B partnerships.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and growing revenue.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working with hospitals, diagnostics labs, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, or digital health platforms.
- Established network of healthcare industry stakeholders and clients.
