Job Description:
- At the heart of our operations, the Facilities Engineer shapes the performance and future of our production assets, applying deep, hands-on expertise to design, maintain, and enhance the infrastructure that keeps Nigeria’s energy flowing safely, efficiently, and reliably.
Responsibilities:
- Apply engineering skills in hands-on oil and gas operations.
- Work with engineers and cross-functional teams to solve technical issues.
- Support engineering projects and drive operational excellence.
- Stay current with industry standards, safety protocols, and new technologies.
Requirements:
Education:
- B.Eng in Electrical Engineering or Civil Engineering
- Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or Petroleum Engineering
Skills:
- The successful candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, a solid grasp of engineering concepts, self-motivation, and the ability to contribute individually and work well in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team.
The ideal candidate must meet the following requirements:
- At least a Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of Second-Class Upper Division (2.1) in any of the following engineering disciplines: Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, Petroleum, Electrical/Electronics, Industrial & Production, Subsea, Materials & Metallurgical or related disciplines.
- Candidates should have a minimum of eight (8) years of relevant industry experience.
- Proven success collaborating in cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for engaging diverse stakeholders.
- Proficient in computer systems and industry-relevant software tools.
- Willing and able to work across various operational locations in Nigeria.
- Highly adaptable to shifting workloads, priorities, and dynamic environments.
- NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.
