Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Desk Officer to serve as the face and administrative hub of our Ikeja office. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our clients and the operational backbone for our internal team. Your mission is to blend exceptional customer service with high-level administrative efficiency.
The ideal candidate is a proactive multitasker who can manage front-desk diplomacy while maintaining pristine digital and physical records. If you have 1–2 years of experience in office administration and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want you on our team.
Requirements:
1. Front Desk Diplomacy & Communication
First Impressions: Greet and assist visitors with professionalism, ensuring a positive brand image from the moment they walk through the door.
Telephony Management: Act as the central node for phone inquiries, directing calls to the appropriate departments and providing accurate information.
Stakeholder Relations: Maintain a welcoming environment while filtering and prioritizing visitors and incoming requests.
2. Administrative Logistics & Record Keeping
Database Stewardship: Manage and maintain accurate records, files, and databases, ensuring that information is easily retrievable and securely stored.
Documentation Support: Handle high-volume mail, scanning, and photocopying tasks with precision to support team productivity.
Office Maintenance: Monitor office supplies and equipment, proactively requesting restocks or repairs to avoid operational downtime.
3. Team Collaboration & Ad-Hoc Support
Executive Assistance: Provide cross-departmental administrative support, helping team members meet project deadlines.
Task Agility: Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned, adapting quickly to the changing needs of the office and leadership.
Environment Governance: Ensure the front office and shared workspaces are kept tidy and professional at all times.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Relevant qualifications (OND/HND/B.Sc. in Business Administration, Secretarial Studies, or related fields).
Experience: 1–2 years of proven experience in a desk officer, receptionist, or administrative assistant role.
Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic office equipment (scanners, PBX systems).
