We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Description:

  • The Chief Operations Officer(COO) will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the company and ensuring that the business operates efficiently and effectively.
  • As a key member of the executive team, the COO works closely with the CEO to develop and implement strategies, manage operational processes, and align resources to achieve business goals.
  • This role requires exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and operational expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to develop and implement business strategies.
  • Translate strategy into actionable goals for performance and growth.
  • Drive company vision and operational excellence.
  • Oversee daily operations across departments.
  • Design and implement business processes that enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Monitor and improve key operational metrics and KPIs.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop department heads and operational teams.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and high performance.
  • Establish clear performance goals and evaluate employee performance
  • Manage operational budgets and forecasts.
  • Optimize resource allocation and control costs while maintaining service quality.
  • Collaborate with the finance department to assess financial data and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure operational compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Identify and mitigate operational risks.
  • Promote the adoption of technology to improve operations and competitiveness.
  • Evaluate and implement new systems or tools to streamline operations.
  • Manage capital investments and expenses aggressively to ensure that the company achieves investor target for growth and profitability.
  • Build and maintain trusting relationships with key customers, clients, partners, and stakeholders
  • Any other duties assigned by Management from time to time.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • MBA or similar advanced degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in operations, with at least 8 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Proven experience in strategic planning and execution.
  • Solid understanding of financial management and budget oversight.
  • Proficiency in the use of operations software and ERP systems.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Salary

N1,000,0000 - N1,300,000 Monthly.
