Job Description:
We are seeking a high-velocity and customer-focused Cashier to anchor the front-of-house engine of our Ikoyi operations. In a specialized service landscape where brand reputation is dictated by the speed of the transaction and the accuracy of the change success is defined by "Transactional Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize high-volume orders with the clinical precision required for POS Management, Digital Payments, and Shift Balancing. This role is designed for a "Service Architect" with an OND and 1–2 years of experience who can blend "Numerical Grit" (handling cash and balancing registers) with the "Strategic Agility" required to coordinate with kitchen staff for order accuracy.
Requirements:
1. Orchestration & Payment Governance
Transaction Sovereignty: Process customer orders and handle cash, POS, and digital payments with millimetric focus, acting as the primary "Source of Revenue Collection."
Accuracy Architecture: Maintain an accurate cash register and perform end-of-shift balancing, providing the "Structural Foundation" for daily financial transparency.
Integrity Stewardship: Issue receipts, refunds, and change accurately, ensuring the "Source of Transactional Trust" is elite and uncompromised.
2. Tactical Resilience & Experience Logic
First Impression Sovereignty: Greet customers warmly and provide a positive initial contact, acting as the primary "Source of Brand Hospitality."
Coordination Architecture: Liaise with kitchen and service staff to ensure orders are accurate and timely, providing the "Functional Foundation" for seamless guest satisfaction.
Problem Stewardship: Resolve basic customer complaints and inquiries professionally, maintaining the "Source of Conflict Resolution."
3. Operational Integrity & Logistics Power
Workspace Sovereignty: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the cashier and front desk area, acting as the primary "Source of Operational Professionalism."
Supply Architecture: Monitor and restock essential items like receipt rolls and packaging, providing the "Relational Foundation" for uninterrupted service.
Velocity Logic: Utilize 1–2 years of experience and POS expertise to manage queues during peak hours in Ikoyi, maximizing the "Source of Service Throughput."
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Minimum of an OND qualification.
Experience: 1 – 2 years of working experience in a cashier or retail-focused role.
Technical Power: Proficiency in handling POS machines, cash, and various digital payment platforms.
Attributes: Reliable, customer-focused, and capable of maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.
