Job Description:

We are seeking a diligent and experienced Treasury Officer to join our finance team in Ogba. This role is pivotal in maintaining our liquidity health and financial accuracy. You will be responsible for end-to-end treasury operations, including bank relationship management, meticulous reconciliation, and the seamless processing of intercompany and petty cash transactions within our ERP system. If you are a chartered accounting professional with a background in structured FMCG environments and a high level of technical proficiency, we invite you to take ownership of our treasury processes and contribute to our month-end and year-end closure successes.

Requirements:

• Banking Operations: Manage bank relationships, conduct thorough bank reconciliations, and accurately post bank charges.

• Cash Management: oversee petty cash transactions, ensuring all entries are accurately captured in the ERP.

• Intercompany & Special Transactions: Manage the posting of intercompany transactions and scrap material transactions to maintain inventory and financial integrity.

• Financial Reporting: Support the team during critical month-end and year-end financial closure processes.

• Compliance & Administration: Perform any additional financial responsibilities assigned by management to ensure the smooth functioning of the finance department.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.

• Professional Certification: Must possess ICAN or ACA certification.

• Experience: 3 – 5 years of relevant experience in Treasury Management.

• Industry Context: Previous experience working within an FMCG or a structured corporate environment is highly preferred.
