Job Description:
Moniepoint is looking for a strategic and human-centric Technical Recruiter to join our global talent team. This is not a high-volume, transactional role it is a partnership. You will act as the bridge between Moniepoint’s engineering vision and the world-class talent needed to build it. Requirements:
Full-Cycle Ownership: Manage the entire hiring journey, from the moment a job profile is defined to the final signature on an offer letter.
Strategic Sourcing: Go beyond the "post and pray" approach. You will use creative, proactive sourcing strategies to build diverse, high-quality pipelines of engineers, product managers, and data professionals.
Hiring Manager Partnership: Act as a trusted advisor to our engineering leaders. Use data to influence hiring decisions, refine requirements, and streamline the search for the right talent.
Candidate Advocacy: Ensure every single candidate—whether they are hired or not—has a respectful, transparent, and positive experience. You are a brand ambassador for Moniepoint.
Process Innovation: Constantly seek ways to improve our hiring machinery. From screening to interview panels, you will help build a process that is as scalable as our technology.
Qualifications and Skills:
Experience: 5–7 years of total recruitment experience, with at least 3 years dedicated to technical roles (Engineering, Product, Data).
Environment: A proven track record of hiring in fast-paced, high-growth tech environments or scale-ups.
Technical Depth: Deep experience in full-cycle recruitment, including navigating complex offer negotiations and managing senior stakeholders.
Tools: Hands-on experience with modern Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and advanced sourcing platforms.
Preferred Backgrounds:
Experience hiring across multiple geographies (e.g., Nigeria, UK, India).
Previous experience in Fintech or Banking.
Familiarity with technical assessment platforms and competency-based interviewing techniques.
