Job Description:

We are seeking a strategic and highly technical Senior Network Engineer to lead the architecture, implementation, and security of our global network infrastructure. In this role, you will be the primary guardian of our connectivity, responsible for designing scalable solutions that support high-velocity business operations.

This is a senior-level position requiring a blend of hands-on technical mastery and high-level architectural planning. You will oversee the entire network lifecycle—from evaluating next-gen hardware to conducting advanced vulnerability assessments. Requirements:

1. Architecture & Global Implementation

• Scalable Design: Architect robust, high-availability network solutions that align with long-term business growth and data demands.

• Hardware Procurement: Lead the evaluation and selection of enterprise-grade routers, switches, and load balancers to ensure a future-proof stack.

• Deployment Excellence: Oversee the end-to-end implementation of new network segments, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum throughput.

2. Performance Optimization & Management

• Proactive Monitoring: Utilize advanced telemetry and monitoring tools to track latency, packet loss, and overall efficiency.

• Configuration Management: Maintain and optimize core configurations for routers, switches, and firewalls, ensuring peak performance across the LAN/WAN.

• Troubleshooting: Act as the Tier-3 escalation point for complex network outages, conducting root-cause analysis to prevent recurrence.

3. Security, Compliance & Risk Mitigation

• Security Protocol Design: Implement rigorous security frameworks, including VPNs, IDS/IPS, and NAC, to protect data integrity.

• Vulnerability Assessment: Conduct regular risk assessments and penetration testing to identify and patch potential entry points.

• Compliance Standards: Ensure all network configurations meet industry-standard certifications (such as ISO 27001, SOC2, or PCI-DSS).

4. Governance, Documentation & Mentorship

• Technical Documentation: Maintain an exhaustive repository of network diagrams, IP schemas, and disaster recovery protocols.

• Strategic Reporting: Deliver monthly performance audits and incident response reports to senior leadership.

• Team Leadership: Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and operational discipline.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related Engineering field.

• Certifications: CCNP/CCIE, JNCIP/JNCIE, or equivalent certifications are highly preferred.
