Job Description:
We are seeking a high-velocity and structurally elite Procurement Officer to anchor the supply engine of our restaurant operations. In a specialized food service landscape where institutional momentum is dictated by the freshness of the ingredient and the precision of the unit cost success is defined by "Supply Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize vendor relationships with the clinical precision required for Market Research, Inventory Coordination, and Food Safety Compliance. This role is designed for a "Resource Architect" with a Bachelor’s/HND and 2+ years of experience (specifically in hospitality) who can blend "Negotiation Grit" (securing competitive pricing for beverages and kitchen supplies) with the "Strategic Agility" required to implement cost-saving initiatives and manage complex supplier databases.
Requirements:
1. Orchestration & Sourcing Governance
Sourcing Sovereignty: Procure food ingredients, beverages, and operational materials with millimetric focus, acting as the primary "Source of Kitchen Readiness."
Vendor Architecture: Identify, evaluate, and maintain high-fidelity relationships with reliable suppliers, providing the "Structural Foundation" for consistent quality and competitive pricing.
Integrity Stewardship: Maintain accurate procurement records and supplier databases, ensuring the "Source of Financial Accountability" is elite and uncompromised.
2. Tactical Resilience & Market Logic
Negotiation Sovereignty: Conduct market research and negotiate favorable terms with vendors, acting as the primary "Source of Cost Efficiency."
Logistics Architecture: Prepare purchase orders and monitor deliveries to prevent operational disruptions, providing the "Functional Foundation" for a seamless restaurant floor.
Quality Stewardship: Inspect supplies upon delivery for quantity and compliance with specifications, maintaining the "Source of Product Excellence."
3. Operational Integrity & Inventory Power
Stock Sovereignty: Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure adequate inventory levels, acting as the primary "Source of Supply Continuity."
Safety Architecture: Ensure proper storage and handling of items in line with hygiene standards, providing the "Relational Foundation" for food safety compliance.
Velocity Logic: Utilize 2+ years of hospitality procurement expertise to resolve supply bottlenecks in real-time, maximizing the "Source of Operational Throughput."
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or HND in a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in procurement, preferably within Hospitality or Food Service.
Technical Power: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic inventory management systems.
Attributes: Strong negotiation, organizational, and record-keeping skills.
