Job Description:

We are seeking a high-velocity and intellectually elite Internal Control Officer to anchor our governance engine. In a complex commercial environment, success is defined by "Fiduciary Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize strict policy enforcement with the clinical precision required for fraud detection, asset safeguarding, and budgetary discipline. This role is designed for a "Risk Architect" with 2–3 years of experience and an ICAN ATS Certification who can blend "Forensic Grit" (investigating suspicious transactions and diesel pilferage) with the "Analytical Agility" required to optimize poultry business operations and process improvements.

Requirements:

1. Financial Orchestration & Call-Over Governance

• Verification Sovereignty: Ensure the millimetric correctness of every company record through daily call-over reports, acting as the primary "Source of Accuracy" for all financial entries.

• Credit & Payable Logic: Oversee the clinical approval of all credit sales and manage a "Well-Controlled Payable Portfolio" to prevent unauthorized fiscal leaks.

• Budgetary Stewardship: Enforce strict adherence to management-approved budgets, ensuring every expenditure acts as a "Source of Value" for the organization.

2. Asset Resilience & Forensic Logic

• Safeguarding Sovereignty: Protect the physical and liquid assets of the company—including consumables, stock, and fixed assets—ensuring "Zero-Loss" from conversion or theft.

• Resource Reconnaissance: Monitor diesel intake and internal dispensing with forensic precision to prevent pilferage, fraud, or the "Economic Friction" of unauthorized usage.

• Fraud Architecture: Implement high-fidelity systems for the early detection and correction of shortages, suppression, forgery, and operational errors.

3. Compliance Diplomacy & Reporting Power

• Policy Sovereignty: Ensure 100% compliance with company processes, HSE regulations, and I.O.U. retirement protocols (within 48 hours), maintaining "Institutional Discipline."

• Intelligence Architecture: Prepare and submit high-impact reports to the ICM/HIC and relevant stakeholders, providing the "Analytical Foundation" for corrective actions.

• Stakeholder Synergy: Collaborate synchronously with management to address control deficiencies, acting as a "Source of Solution" for identified non-compliance issues.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Education: BSc / HND in Accounting from a recognized institution.

• Experience: 2–3 years of robust experience in internal control, auditing, compliance, or risk management.

• Certification: Mandatory ICAN ATS Certification.

• Sector Savvy: Knowledge of poultry business operations and experience with process improvement is a significant strategic advantage.
