Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Finance Manager to strengthen our financial operations. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of financial planning, budgeting, costing, reporting, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in manufacturing finance, with a deep understanding of product costing, inventory management, and robust financial controls.

Requirements:

  • Financial Planning & Analysis:

    • Prepare and manage annual budgets, financial forecasts, and detailed reports.

    • Oversee product costing, cost analysis, and continuous cost-control activities.

    • Monitor manufacturing costs, inventory valuation, and production variances.

  • Reporting & Compliance:

    • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

    • Ensure full compliance with all statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements.

    • Coordinate external audits and serve as the primary liaison with regulatory authorities.

  • Operational Control:

    • Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial risk mitigation.

    • Develop and implement effective internal control systems to protect company assets.

    • Provide actionable financial insights and recommendations to support senior management decision-making.

  • Leadership:

    • Supervise and mentor finance and accounting staff to ensure operational efficiency and team growth.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

  • Professional Certification: MBA and active professional membership (FCA/ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) are required.

  • Experience: 10–15 years of relevant experience, with a proven track record in a manufacturing environment.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Extensive experience in costing and manufacturing finance is mandatory.

    • Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, taxation, and internal control frameworks.

    • Proficiency in modern accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel.

  • Core Competencies: Exceptional analytical, leadership, and communication skills.

  • Industry Preference: Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is a strong added advantage.
