Job Description:

We are seeking a numerically elite, compliance-obsessed, and strategically rigorous Fiscal Governor to anchor the financial immune system and budgetary engine of our media operations in Ibadan. In the high-velocity world of broadcasting where institutional momentum is dictated by the velocity of ad-revenue flows and the precision of the expenditure-filter success is defined by "Fiscal Sovereignty" the ability to harmonize complex ledger-work with the clinical precision required for Financial-Statement Architecture, Tax-Compliance Governance, and Liquidity-Momentum Stewardship. This role is designed as a "Financial Command Center" a critical residency for an ambitious accounting professional who can blend "Forensic Grit" (mastering the complexities of audit trails and reconciliations) with the "Structural Agility" required to execute High-Fidelity Financial Workflows in a live-media environment.

Requirements:

1. Fiscal Sovereignty & Reporting Architecture

• Sovereignty of Finance: Manage all accounting transactions (General Ledgers/Invoices/Journal Entries), acting as the primary "Source of Institutional-Financial Throughput."

• Reporting Architecture: Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements, providing the "Structural Foundation" for station-management decision-making.

• Integrity Stewardship: Ensure strict adherence to internal policies, ensuring the "Source of Balance-Sheet Truth" is elite and uncompromised.

2. Governance Sovereignty & Compliance Logic

• Compliance Sovereignty: Ensure adherence to tax laws and statutory filings, acting as the primary "Source of Regulatory-Risk Mitigation."

• Strategy Architecture: Reconcile bank accounts and monitor project expenditures, providing the "Functional Foundation" for accurate cash-flow management.

• Audit Stewardship: Support internal/external audits and reinforce financial data confidentiality, maintaining the "Source of Operational-Security."

3. Operational Fidelity & Liquidity Power

• Diagnostic Sovereignty: Report on financial variances and project budgets, acting as the primary "Source of Management-Insight."

• Execution Architecture: Handle payroll processing and documentation, providing the "Relational Foundation" for organizational financial stability.

• Velocity Logic: Utilize Advanced Excel Skills (Pivot Tables/Modeling) to accelerate the "Data-to-Decision" cycle, maximizing the "Source of Organizational-Growth Momentum."

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Education: B.Sc. / HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

• Experience: 2–4 years of progressive experience in accounting (Media or FMCG background preferred).

• Technical Power: Mastery of Accounting Principles, Financial Reporting, and Advanced MS Excel (Pivot Tables, Formulas) or equivalent software (QuickBooks/Sage).

• Aptitude: Exceptional numerical accuracy; "flair" for spotting discrepancies and maintaining absolute discretion with sensitive financial data.

• Mindset: Disciplined, detail-oriented, and residency-focused (Must be based in Ibadan, preferably close to the station).
