Job Description:
We are looking for a high-velocity Area Growth Lead to serve as the primary execution engine for our designated territories. This is not a "desk job"—it is a high-impact, field-based leadership role that requires you to bridge the gap between national strategy and neighborhood-level results.
You will own the performance of your area end-to-end, orchestrating Commercial, Supply, and Partner operations to drive hyper-local growth. If you are a data-driven leader who is just as comfortable analyzing a P&L as you are troubleshooting rider availability on the streets of Lagos Mainland, this is your ride.
Requirements:
1. Hyper-Local Strategy & Execution
Priority Translation: Turn national growth targets into surgical neighborhood-level plans, ensuring every street and store contributes to the bottom line.
Performance Governance: Lead rigorous weekly and monthly business reviews to identify gaps, assign ownership, and track corrective actions with relentless speed.
Local Marketing: Design and deploy "boots-on-the-ground" acquisition strategies tailored specifically to the unique dynamics of your assigned area.
2. Partner & Selection Optimization
Selection Expansion: Partner with the Commercial team to identify high-potential stores and neighborhoods, ensuring our marketplace offers the best selection in the area.
Performance Management: Directly manage neighborhood-level partner performance, ensuring top-tier stores are live, optimized, and delivering world-class service.
Supply Chain Synergy: Work with Supply Ops to master the "magic quadrant" of delivery: minimizing delivery times, maximizing rider availability, and protecting the customer experience.
3. Leadership & Field Intelligence
Multidisciplinary Leadership: Foster a culture of extreme ownership and accountability across your cross-functional area team.
Ground-Truth Insights: Spend significant time in the field to gather raw insights, troubleshoot operational bottlenecks, and understand the "why" behind the data.
Glovo Culture: Act as the local culture carrier, ensuring high team morale and a relentless focus on excellence.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Execution Mastery: Proven experience owning end-to-end execution. You have a track record of being "hands-on" and leading field-based initiatives.
Industry IQ: Experience in high-frequency marketplaces, e-commerce, logistics, food delivery, or FMCG.
Territory Ownership: Previous experience in city-level or territory management where you were accountable for a specific P&L or set of KPIs.
Core Competencies
Analytical Depth: Comfortable working in data-heavy environments and using metrics to drive field decisions.
Lagos Mainland Fluency: Deep familiarity with the logistical and commercial nuances of the Lagos Mainland setting.
Resilience & Agility: The ability to navigate pressure and pivot strategies based on real-time field intelligence.
