Job Description:

We are looking for a smart, detail-oriented, and analytical Accounts Intern to join our Finance Team and gain practical experience in accounting and financial administration. This opportunity is ideal for a dedicated NYSC Corps member seeking hands-on experience in a structured manufacturing environment.

Requirements:

• Transaction Support: Assist in recording daily financial transactions.

• Documentation: Support the preparation and filing of accounting documents and records, including maintaining accurate systems for invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers.

• Accounts Activity: Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.

• Reconciliation: Help reconcile bank statements and support stock/inventory reconciliation processes.

• Reporting: Assist in preparing financial reports, schedules, and general data entry.

• Administrative Support: Provide general assistance to the Finance Department.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Status: Must be a current NYSC Corps Member seeking a Place of Primary Assignment (PPA).

• Education: Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

• Skills:

  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.

  • High attention to detail and numerical accuracy.

• Attributes: Excellent communication skills, a strong willingness to learn, and high integrity in handling confidential/sensitive information.
