Job Description:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts as well as preparing or supervising the daily revenue ledgers.
- Prepare the schedule of all statutory dues and ensure the prompt payment of the same.
- Team up with management and the internal audit unit in the formulation of internal control procedures. Review internal control and make recommendations to the management on any necessary modification.
- Ensure that all expenses are within the budget limit and ensure basic approval for all expenses.
- Must have good knowledge of inventory management and shall, with others, supervise the monthly stocktaking and stock reconciliation and ensure compliance with inventory procedures
- Prepares or supervises, with other account officers, the monthly bank reconciliation statement.
- Liaise with the procurement department and store in preparation of payment schedules for all creditors, as well as the front desk manager in computation of receivables.
Requirements:
- Ideal candidate must possess a minimum of HND / BSc in Accounting, ICAN/AAT, with relevant years of experience.
- An advanced stage in ICAN is an added advantage.
- Candidate with ICAN AAT2 / Foundation, with relevant years of experience can also apply.
- Candidate must also have good knowledge of Ms Excel and word and at least one accounting software.
- The job is open for Lagos residents ONLY and those within the proximity of Amuwo Odofin
- Candidates outside Lagos should not apply except those in Abuja.
