Job Description:

We are seeking a high-velocity and analytically elite Accountant to anchor our finance department in Ikeja, Lagos. In a fast-moving commercial environment, success is defined by "Fiscal Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize GAAP-compliant daily revenue reconciliation with the clinical precision required for tax integrity, internal audits, and budgetary forecasting. This role is designed for a "Financial Architect" who can blend "Transactional Grit" (managing payroll and general ledger entries) with the "Strategic Agility" required to identify financial trends, risks, and expansion opportunities.

Requirements:

1. Revenue Orchestration & Ledger Governance

• Statement Sovereignty: Prepare and analyze high-fidelity financial statements, ensuring every record in the General Ledger is a "Source of Accuracy" for the organization.

• Reconciliation Excellence: Review and reconcile daily revenue reports with clinical precision, ensuring "Zero-Gap" alignment between physical transactions and digital records.

• Closing Stewardship: Lead high-velocity monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, ensuring all accounts are "Audit-Ready" and finalized within strict timelines.

2. Fiscal Flow & Control Architecture

• Transaction Governance: Monitor accounts receivable and payable while managing payroll processing with millimetric accuracy to ensure "Zero-Lag" in financial cycles.

• Control Engineering: Perform rigorous internal audits and implement control measures to protect the organization’s assets and ensure strict compliance with financial regulations.

• Inventory Intelligence: Conduct high-stakes inventory audits and manage cost control initiatives, providing the "Source of Truth" for operational overheads.

3. Performance Intelligence & Strategy Logic

• Trend Reconnaissance: Identify financial trends, risks, and opportunities through the analysis of performance fluctuations and market data.

• Budgetary Architecture: Collaborate on the review and preparation of budgets and forecasts, utilizing historical data to engineer "Intelligence-Driven" growth strategies.

• Reporting Diplomacy: Generate and present high-impact financial reports to stakeholders, translating complex data into actionable "Strategy Logic."

• Compliance Stewardship: Ensure 100% adherence to all financial regulations and tax return protocols, staying updated on industry best practices to maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Education: Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., ICAN, ACCA) are a significant strategic advantage.

• Experience: Proven track record as an Accountant with experience in revenue reconciliation and internal controls.

• Technical Mastery: High proficiency in Accounting Software and Microsoft Excel (Advanced data analysis and reporting).
