Job Description:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented NYSC Corps Member to join our finance department. This is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring accountant to transition from academic theory to corporate practice. You will work closely with our senior accounting team, gaining exposure to real-world financial operations, record-keeping, and treasury management in a professional corporate environment.

Requirements:

• Financial Record-Keeping: Assist in the daily maintenance of financial records and oversee petty cash management.

• Reconciliation & Tracking: Provide hands-on support to the Senior Accountant with bank reconciliations and the meticulous tracking of company expenses.

• Documentation Management: Maintain an organized system for both digital and physical financial documentation, ensuring all records are audit-ready.

• Administrative Support: Act as a key support resource for the finance department, assisting with ad-hoc reporting and administrative tasks.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.

• Service Status: You must be a currently serving NYSC Corps Member with at least 8 months remaining in your service year.

• Location: You must reside within close proximity to Ayobo, Iyana-Ipaja, Igando, Ikotun, Ikeja, Egbeda, or Abule-Egba.

• Technical Skills:

  • Basic knowledge of fundamental accounting principles.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Attributes: A high degree of integrity, a hunger for learning, and the ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced work environment.
