Software Sovereignty: Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar ERPs) and advanced Microsoft Excel functions to automate reporting and reduce manual errors.
2. Reconciliation & Regulatory Fidelity
Bank Reconciliation Logic: Conduct rigorous monthly bank reconciliations to ensure that internal records perfectly align with bank statements, identifying and resolving variances immediately.
Tax & Statutory Compliance: Support the preparation of monthly tax filings (VAT, WHT, PAYE), ensuring the organization remains in a "Low-Risk" status with regulatory bodies like the LIRS and FIRS.
Audit Preparation: Maintain a "Ready-to-View" filing system, ensuring all vouchers, receipts, and financial documents are organized for internal and external audits.
3. Financial Analysis & Integrity
Analytical Reporting: Generate periodic financial statements and expense reports, providing management with clinical insights into spending patterns and budget performance.
