Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and organized Account Officer to support our daily accounting operations. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining the financial health of the organization by ensuring that all transactions are recorded accurately, documentation is impeccable, and financial processes run smoothly. If you are a numbers-driven individual with a strong foundation in bookkeeping and a desire to contribute to an efficient finance team, we want to hear from you.

Requirements:

  • Transaction Processing: Accurately process invoices, receipts, and payment records to ensure all financial data is current.

  • Documentation & Record Keeping: Maintain organized, up-to-date physical and digital financial records. Ensure all documentation is archived for easy retrieval and audit readiness.

  • Reconciliation Support: Assist in reconciling accounts and proactively identifying and resolving financial discrepancies.

  • Data Entry: Record daily financial transactions into our accounting systems with high precision.

  • Financial Reporting: Assist the finance team in the preparation of routine financial reports and summaries.

  • Expense & Vendor Management: Track operational expenses, ensure proper supporting documentation is attached, manage vendor payments, and follow up on outstanding invoices.

  • Quality Control: Maintain high standards of data accuracy in all financial entries and reporting.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience: 1–3 years of professional experience in an accounting support, bookkeeping, or clerical role.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data entry tools. A solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and financial processes.

  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy in record-keeping and a meticulous approach to financial data.

  • Organizational Ability: Strong capacity to manage and organize financial documentation efficiently.

  • Mindset: A proactive willingness to learn, take on new responsibilities, and support the broader finance team.
