Job Description:

We are seeking a high-velocity and structurally elite Account Officer to anchor the revenue engine of our transport and logistics operations in Ogun State. In a specialized logistics landscape where institutional momentum is dictated by the speed of the invoice and the precision of the waybill success is defined by "Receivable Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize high-volume logistics data with the clinical precision required for Waybill Reconciliation, Invoicing, and Prompt Debt Recovery. This role is designed for a "Financial Architect" with a Bachelor’s/HND in Accounting and 3–5 years of experience who can blend "Relational Grit" (following up on outstanding payments) with the "Strategic Agility" required to maintain a "Source of Truth" for Financial Records and Customer Correspondences.

 

Requirements:

1. Orchestration & Receivable Governance

  • Revenue Sovereignty: Maintain a daily update of all receivables with millimetric focus, acting as the primary "Source of Cash Flow Clarity."

  • Documentation Architecture: Oversee the collection and filing of return waybills, providing the "Structural Foundation" for verified and audit-ready invoicing.

  • Integrity Stewardship: Ensure 100% accuracy in financial records and reports as instructed by the Head of Finance, ensuring the "Source of Fiscal Integrity" is elite and uncompromised.

2. Tactical Resilience & Collection Logic

  • Invoicing Sovereignty: Send timely and accurate invoices to customers for payment, acting as the primary "Source of Revenue Triggering."

  • Recovery Architecture: Manage correspondences and follow up on outstanding payments, providing the "Functional Foundation" for reduced Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).

  • Process Stewardship: Manage industry-specific accounting processes within the logistics framework, maintaining the "Source of Systemic Reliability."

3. Operational Integrity & Relationship Power

  • Client Sovereignty: Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts to facilitate prompt payments, acting as the primary "Source of Relational Value."

  • Analytical Architecture: Utilize 3–5 years of account operations experience to resolve payment discrepancies and billing abnormalities in real-time.

  • Velocity Logic: Deliver financial outputs within strict timelines to maximize the "Source of Commercial Throughput" in Ogun State.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting.

  • Experience: 3 – 5 years of working experience in financial services or account operations.

  • Industry Edge: Previous experience in Transport or Logistics accounting is highly desirable.

  • Location: Must be resident in or willing to work onsite in Mowe Ibafo, Ogun State.
