Job Description:

We are looking for a visionary and strategic Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to provide technical leadership and steer the technological direction of our company. You will be the bridge between our business goals and our technical infrastructure.

Requirements:

Strategic Leadership & Planning

• Aligning Strategy: Develop the technical aspects of our company’s strategy to ensure they are fully aligned with our broader business goals.

• Driving Innovation: Identify and implement new technologies that provide a competitive advantage, ensuring we stay ahead of market trends.

• Business Acumen: Help various departments use technology profitably. You will identify where tech can increase efficiency, reduce costs, or unlock new revenue streams.

Operational Excellence & Infrastructure

• System Oversight: Supervise our system infrastructure to ensure maximum functionality, efficiency, and scalability.

• Data & Quality: Build and maintain rigorous quality assurance and data protection processes to safeguard our company and customer information.

• Performance Monitoring: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and manage IT budgets to ensure our technological investments are delivering the expected value.

Stakeholder Management

• The Voice of Tech: Communicate our technology strategy clearly and persuasively to partners, investors, employees, and customers.

• Feedback Loop: Use stakeholders’ feedback—from both technical teams and business units—to inform necessary improvements and adjustments to our technology roadmap.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience: Proven experience in a CTO or similar executive leadership role. You have a track record of building and leading high-performing technical teams.

• Education: A BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. An MBA or relevant graduate degree is considered a significant plus.

• Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of current technological trends and the ability to conduct high-level technological analyses and research.

• Business Sense: A strong understanding of budgets, financial planning, and business operations. You know how to make "tech" make sense on a balance sheet.

• Soft Skills:

  • Strategic Thinker: You look at the big picture and plan for the long term.

  • Exceptional Communicator: You can explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders (including board members and investors) with clarity and confidence.

  • Leadership: You have a natural ability to organize teams, influence culture, and solve problems with a calm, analytical aptitude.
