Job Description:
Sales Growth:
- Purchase Control: Drive and monitor the procurement volume from retail stores to ensure a consistent increase in our sales turnover.
- Network Expansion: Identify and onboard new retail partners to expand our footprint across the nation.
- Inventory Management: Ensure optimal stock levels at the retail level to prevent stock-outs and maximize sales opportunities.
Trade Marketing & Merchandising:
- Brand Visibility: Oversee the distribution and deployment of POSM. Ensure our products are prominently and neatly displayed according to brand standards.
- Market Hygiene: Conduct regular store visits to audit shelf presence and ensure our "Retail Excellence" standards are met.
- Promotion Execution: Design, launch, and monitor the effectiveness of BTL retail promotions and consumer activation events.
Team Leadership & State Management:
- Regional Supervision: Directly manage and mentor State Sales Supervisors across the country, tracking daily performance.
- Field Force Training: Conduct regular training sessions for the sales team on product knowledge, negotiation tactics, and retail management.
- Reporting: Provide detailed weekly and monthly market reports, including sales trends, competitor activities, and regional challenges.
Requirements:
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Retail Management or Channel Sales within the Nigerian market.
- Proven track record in the Mobile Accessories, FMCG, or Consumer Electronics sectors.
Competencies:
- Strong understanding of the Nigerian retail landscape across different regions.
- Exceptional leadership skills with experience managing remote teams.
- Data-Driven: Ability to analyze sales data to identify growth opportunities.
- Negotiation: A "closer" mindset with the ability to influence shop owners and distributors.
