Job Description:

We are looking for a technically proficient Quantity Surveyor with specialized expertise in lighting project estimation and design. You will sit at the intersection of design and cost management, ensuring that every lighting project is both aesthetically compliant and financially optimized. If you are skilled in Dialux Evo and have a sharp eye for detail in BOQ preparation and cost analysis, this is the perfect opportunity to manage the financial and technical lifecycle of our lighting installations.

Requirements:

• Lighting Design & Analysis: Develop precise lighting layouts and perform technical calculations using Dialux Evo to ensure project specifications are met.

• Estimation & BOQ: Conduct accurate quantity take-offs from architectural and electrical drawings. Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs), material schedules, and comprehensive cost estimates.

• Tender & Procurement: Analyze supplier quotations to identify cost-effective solutions and prepare competitive tender submissions.

• Project Documentation: Interpret complex construction drawings, prepare project reports, and maintain thorough documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

• Stakeholder Coordination: Act as a key bridge between clients, consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless execution.

• Cost Monitoring: Support the execution phase by monitoring project costs and ensuring the project remains within the approved budget.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: HND or B.Sc. Degree in Quantity Surveying, Electrical Engineering, Architecture, Building Services, or a related field.

• Experience: 3–5 years of hands-on experience in lighting projects, cost estimation, or quantity surveying.

• Technical Mastery:

  • Dialux Evo: Must be highly proficient in lighting design software.

  • Design & Tools: Proficiency in AutoCAD and advanced Microsoft Excel.

• Core Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of building services, electrical systems, and lighting specifications.

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Clear and professional communication, essential for managing client and vendor relations.
