Lifeline Children’s Hospital was founded in 1993 by four experienced female Paediatricians, Dr Lisa Onifade , Dr Iyabo Kudayah, Dr Funlola Harold Sodipo and Dr Efunbo Dosekun. Job Description:
We are seeking a high-velocity and analytically elite Quality Officer to anchor the safety engine of our hospital operations. In the specialized landscape of modern healthcare, success is defined by "Clinical Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize medical delivery with the clinical precision required for Quality Assurance (QA) Policies, Regulatory Compliance, and Continuous Improvement. This role is designed for a "Safety Architect" with 3–5 years of experience who can blend "Clinical Grit" (conducting departmental audits and infection control training) with the "Strategic Agility" required to track incidents and analyze service improvement opportunities.
Requirements:
1. Policy Orchestration & Regulatory Governance
Standards Sovereignty: Develop and implement hospital-wide QA policies with millimetric focus, acting as the primary "Source of Clinical Excellence."
Compliance Architecture: Monitor adherence to safety regulations and internal protocols, providing the "Structural Foundation" for a risk-free hospital environment.
Accreditation Stewardship: Support and coordinate all regulatory compliance processes, ensuring the "Source of Hospital Legitimacy" is elite and uncompromised.
2. Tactical Resilience & Audit Logic
Audit Sovereignty: Conduct regular departmental assessments and quality audits, acting as the primary "Source of Operational Visibility."
Improvement Architecture: Track and analyze incidents, complaints, and service gaps, providing the "Analytical Foundation" for corrective action plans.
Initiative Stewardship: Coordinate cross-departmental quality improvement projects, maintaining the "Source of Systemic Progress."
3. Knowledge Integrity & Performance Power
Safety Sovereignty: Train staff on infection control and patient safety practices, acting as the primary "Source of Clinical Competence."
Reporting Architecture: Prepare high-fidelity quality reports for hospital management, providing the "Visual Foundation" for data-driven decision-making.
Velocity Logic: Utilize 3–5 years of healthcare quality expertise to streamline IPC responsibilities, maximizing the "Source of Patient Care Velocity."
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Experience: 3–5 years of proven experience in quality management within a hospital or healthcare facility.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Public Health, or a related field.
Technical Mastery: Deep knowledge of healthcare quality standards (e.g., HEFAMAA), patient safety, and IPC.
Location Scope: Must be available for full-time work in Lagos.
