Job Description:
We are seeking a high-velocity and technically elite Quality Engineer to anchor the integrity engine of our pipeline projects. In the specialized landscape of Oil & Gas midstream services, success is defined by "Structural Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize complex construction workflows with the clinical precision required for WPS/PQR Verification, NDT Coordination, and Hydrotesting. This role is designed for an "Integrity Architect" with 10+ years of experience who can blend "Technical Grit" (conducting site surveillance and welding inspections) with the "Strategic Agility" required to develop Project Quality Plans and lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
Requirements:
1. Standards Orchestration & Quality Governance
Project Sovereignty: Develop and implement Project Quality Plans and ITPs with millimetric focus, acting as the primary "Source of Procedural Excellence."
Compliance Architecture: Ensure all installation and commissioning activities align with ISO 9001 and ASME/API codes, providing the "Structural Foundation" for client acceptance.
Audit Stewardship: Execute formal quality audits and spot checks on contractors, ensuring the "Source of Subcontractor Performance" is elite and uncompromised.
2. Tactical Resilience & Inspection Logic
Integrity Sovereignty: Plan and execute QC activities including fit-up, dimensional checks, and pigging, acting as the primary "Source of Physical Asset Integrity."
Welding Architecture: Review and approve welding procedures (WPS/PQR) and NDT reports, providing the "Analytical Foundation" for structural durability.
Testing Stewardship: Monitor hydrotesting and pre-commissioning phases to ensure leak-free transitions, maintaining the "Source of Operational Readiness."
3. Resolution Integrity & Lifecycle Power
CAPA Sovereignty: Identify NCRs and lead Root Cause Analysis to prevent recurrence, acting as the primary "Source of Continuous Improvement."
Documentation Architecture: Maintain rigorous quality records and calibration certificates, providing the "Visual Foundation" for final handover dossiers.
Velocity Logic: Utilize 10+ years of EPCI expertise to streamline punch-list walk-downs, maximizing the "Source of Mechanical Completion Velocity."
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
Experience: Minimum of 10 years of proven QA/QC experience in Pipeline Projects (EPC/EPCI).
Technical Mastery: Strong knowledge of welding, NDT (RT, UT, MT, PT), coating, and ASME B31.4/B31.8 / API standards.
Certifications: ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, CSWIP, or NDT Level II are highly preferred.
Core Competencies
Technical Grit: Hands-on experience in developing ITPs and managing site-based quality control.
Operational Sovereignty: Ability to interface effectively with clients, TPIs, and internal construction teams.
