Job Description:
We are seeking a meticulous and highly experienced Quality Control (QC) Laboratory Officer to ensure the integrity of our products from raw material intake to the final output. This is a critical role for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a manufacturing environment. You will serve as the gatekeeper of our quality standards, conducting rigorous physical, chemical, and microbiological testing, while ensuring full compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and international quality standards. If you have a strong analytical mindset and a track record of driving process excellence, we want you to ensure our products meet the highest benchmarks for safety and consistency.
Requirements:
Rigorous Testing: Perform comprehensive physical, chemical, and microbiological analyses on raw materials, packaging, in-process samples, and finished goods according to approved procedures.
Compliance & Standards: Ensure all laboratory activities adhere to GLP, GMP, and ISO quality management systems. Support internal and external audits to maintain certification excellence.
Data Integrity & Documentation: Maintain accurate, timely laboratory records. Utilize Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) to record test results, issue Certificates of Analysis (COA), and prepare detailed quality reports.
Investigation & Troubleshooting: Lead investigations into Out-of-Specification (OOS) results and non-conforming materials. Provide proactive feedback to production teams to identify root causes and resolve quality-related issues.
Equipment Lifecycle Management: Ensure all laboratory instruments are calibrated, maintained, and operational. Manage laboratory inventory, including reagents, consumables, and reference standards.
Continuous Improvement: Assist in the development, review, and updating of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and test methods to drive operational efficiency.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Industrial Chemistry, Food Science, or Chemical Engineering. A Master’s Degree is an added advantage.
Experience: 5–10 years of relevant laboratory and QC experience within a manufacturing environment.
Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of statistical quality control principles, laboratory testing techniques, and regulatory standards.
