Since then, Nestoil has grown to become the leading indigenous EPC provider for major IOCs (International Oil Companies) in Sub-Saharan Africa like National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Shell, Exxon Mobil, Chevron, Total, etc.

Job Description:

  • Develop and execute procurement strategies to ensure timely availability of materials, equipment, and services

  • Source, evaluate, and select suppliers in compliance with company policies, HSE standards, and local content regulations

  • Solicit quotations, conduct bid analyses, and recommend preferred suppliers for approval

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, contractors, and service providers

  • Maintain and update an approved vendor list in accordance with industry regulations (e.g., NIPEX, NAPIMS)

  • Monitor supplier performance to ensure quality, timely delivery, and cost-effectiveness

  • Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers while ensuring contractual compliance

  • Prepare, review, and manage procurement contracts and purchase orders

  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, NCDMB guidelines, and other relevant laws

  • Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation for audits and reporting

  • Collaborate with legal and finance teams to mitigate risks and ensure compliance

  • Monitor procurement budgets and drive cost savings without compromising quality

  • Provide regular reports on procurement activities, cost analysis, and supplier performance

  • Work closely with operations, engineering, projects, and HSE teams to understand requirements and specifications

  • Support logistics and inventory teams to ensure timely delivery and effective stock management

  • Good knowledge of HSE and compliance standards

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 – 5 years’ experience in procurement/ supply chain in oil & gas.
  • Proven experience in vendor sourcing, negotiation, and contract management.
  • Professional certification (CIPS, ISM, NIProc, or equivalent) is an advantage.
