Apple & Pears Limited was incorporated in the year 2012 as an Agro Allied & Food Industry to produce soya meal, concentrate and finished feed for the poultry industry, and refined edible oil, mayonnaise, ketchup, salad cream, vinegar ,custard powder and Chocolate Drink for the Nigerian market.
Job Description:
- Source, negotiate, and purchase goods and services in line with company policies
- Identify reliable suppliers and maintain effective vendor relationships
- Prepare purchase orders and ensure proper documentation
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve procurement-related issues
- Track orders, deliveries, and ensure timely supply of materials
- Conduct market research to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Ensure compliance with company procurement procedures and standards
- Prepare procurement reports and maintain accurate records.
Requirements:
- Must reside in Sagamu or surrounding areas (proximity is very important)
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Good analytical and organizational abilities
- Basic computer proficiency (MS Word, Excel, procurement systems)
- High level of integrity and attention to detail.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum of an OND / HND /BSc Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Professional certification in procurement or supply chain management is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 1–3 years relevant experience in procurement or purchasing
- Experience working with vendors and managing purchase processes is required.
Salary
